Hello! This is a collection of websites I have found that have been super helpful for learning about Jenny and Licca dolls.
I would recommend installing a translation extension on your browser to translate the Japanese websites! Image translate with the Google translate phone app is also super helpful for translating stuff on boxes :^)
I will also post a list of useful search terms in Japanese at the bottom.

| Barbigirl | One of the best sites I have found for English info on Jenny dolls! Has a comprehensive list on the Jenny friend dolls, lots of pictures, even bodies and head molds and their dates of production. Has a similar amount of materials on Licca-chan dolls. |
| Sher's Dolls | An archived version of an old English fanpage for Jenny. Has some good info and pictures! Also a fun look at the collecting scene outside of Japan in the early 2000s. |
| Fashion Doll Quarterly | An old issue from Fashion Doll Quarterly on Jenny with cute pics, but also a bunch of links to other sites with info about Jenny. Great resource for finding places to look with the WaybackMachine! |
| Darla's Dolls | Another archived English fanpage, with some more information about Jenny. I also think this is another fascinating snapshot into the collecting scene c. 2000. |
| Archived Official Jenny Site | An archived version of Jenny's official site c. 2006-- most of the links and images are broken but Ruffle can still play some of the Flash assets. |
| Archived Official Kawaii Jenny Site | Kawaii Jenny was a show made using actual Jenny dolls in a stop-motion style. I haven't watched it yet but the official archived site is fun to look at. It even has a page with episode overviews/descriptions! |
| toyokaloona | REALLY excellent Japanese website, it has a huge list of various Jenny & Friends releases along with a ton of photos and even pictures of promotional/insert materials. Recommend browsing! |
| 舞映(Maiei) ＆ JCC World | A Japanese site with a lot of Jenny history, with especially detailed info on Excelina dolls and Marine dolls. Unfortunately some pages seem permanently under construction although the site last updated in 2019. |
| little toy box | A great and currently updating Japanese blog where the author shares doll photos! Her "Welcome Jenny" series has great overviews of the various Friend characters, including bios from the Jenny Golden History book! |
| Erynnis_Tages | Awesome blog by a Polish blogger who has scanned and uploaded a TON of old Ma-ba Barbie (Jenny pre-name change) fashion booklets. Go look through them!! |
| Papu Pepo | A Japanese site that has a number of fan-made sewing patterns for Jenny and Licca. The patterns cannot be printed out for 1 to 1 cutting but has lots of visual instructions. |
| Ama-Iro Adventure | Super cool site where the owner shares film photography of Jenny dolls! They even have a helpful page about how to take good doll photography :) |
| 銀うさぎの庭 | A Japanese blog where the author posts photos of their own hand-made dresses (usually with reference to a Jenny official pattern). |
| Lazy Club (?) | A Japanese site where the author has pics of their various Jenny dolls, although not usually in their original outfits/box. |
| くるりくるリカ | Another personal site with some doll photos. The owner also uploads some doll-photography comics. |
| Barbieplanet | A Russian blog that has some pretty detailed overview of Jenny's history and some cool photos/scans. |
